From TARDIS to Terminator: Matt Smith Jumps into another Sci-Fi Franchise

Matt Smith certainly is keeping busy.  Around the time of his departure from Doctor Who, the man who seared his face onto our hearts with bow-ties and fezzes took a stab at more grim roles. Smith cut his iconic hair and spent the summer of 2013 filming as Bully in Ryan Gosling’s writer/director debut Lost River (then known as How to Catch a Monster). Once he wrapped up his last stint as The Doctor in that year’s Christmas special, he took to the West End in a musical adaptation of American Psycho.

Now he’s returning to the world of science fiction in yet another big name franchise: the Terminator films. Specifically, a new trilogy.
