The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced their picks for the best of the best in 2016’s movie releases. Yes, La La Land and Moonlight got into the race. But there are some nice surprises in that special group. Curious to see who made the list? Here it is, Geekettes! With the Oscar’s just around the corner (aka my favorite time of year) I wanted to leave you with my opinions on the nominees. From Irish love stories to Outer Space Adventures and even some car chases for good measure, this year’s Academy Awards offer quite a bit of competition to look over.
