The Daily Geekette National Cat Appreciation Day Post

On Monday, I reminded my fellow Geekettes that National Cat Appreciation Day was coming up and asked if we wanted to post something. Within half an hour, there were 42 comments, all about cats and cat merch and cat-like characters.

Basically, we, as part of the internet, really love cats. If you ask very nicely, we will show you pictures of our own cats. And tell you their birthdays. And what their favorite toys are.


However, you didn’t ask. So here are our favorite famous cats. (In all seriousness though, my cats are definitely the most beautiful, well-behaved cats ever.)

Revisiting My Childhood With “Sabrina, The Teenage Witch”

Seeing as I graduated from college in May, a large chunk of what I’ve been doing while home this summer is finally clearing out old junk that has piled up in my bedroom over the years. While music might be a less distracting way to keep myself motivated while cleaning, I’ve mainly been opting for marathoning different old tv shows instead. My most recent pick? Sabrina, The Teenage Witch, which aired from 1996-2003 (coincidentally almost the exact same years that Buffy was first airing). I grew up watching Sabrina, including the made-for-tv movies that went along with it, but when I decided to go back and rewatch it, I wasn’t sure what to expect.
