The Good Pokèmon Go! is Doing For People

Pokèmon Go! is getting a lot of flak from those who do not understand, or those who see things online. However, it is an excellent app that is also doing a lot of good in the world and I want to shed light onto this, as I think it is important that we also recognize the good. “Pokémon Go” Review: A Suburbia Player Rising to the Challenge

Pokémon Go is a lot of fun but is tough for suburban towns and communities. It can be tough for a lot of people outside of the city to keep up and catch as many pokémon because it is based on cell phone data. The density of cell phone data in an area means more pokémon, pokestops, and gyms.

Nintendo Treehouse: Live at E3 (Day 1 Recap)

Every year, millions of gamers look forward to the Electronic Entertainment Expo, otherwise known as E3. Since I was not able to make it to E3 in person, I did the next best thing and attended the event virtually. June 14th and 15th I dedicated to watching the Nintendo Treehouse: Live at E3. This will be the recap of only day 1. I felt the need to give anyone out there who couldn’t attend in person or virtually an in-depth recap of the most anticipated upcoming video games. Us gamers have to stick together, right?

Pokémon GO Field Testing: Calling All Trainers!

It’s 2016, which moves us one step closer to the release of Pokémon Go! Pokémon GO is the dream app for all Pokémon trainers that will be available through IOS and Android devices only (rather than on Gameboy devices as has been the norm for Pokemon games). Players can now experience catching their own Pokémon in the outside world. That’s right, you no longer have to search for Pokémon through a tiny, virtual, playable character; YOU and only you are the Pokémon master with this app, where mobile location and expanded reality collide to create a Pokémon app to do this generation justice. Whether you are a new trainer or a Pokémon veteran, this app will drive and inspire players to go beyond any boundaries they’ve seen before.

KOKO 1
Koko is ready to roll!

On May 7th, comic book stores throughout the U.S participated in “Free Comic Book Day.” This event was kickstarted in 2002 by the North American comic book industry in an effort to encourage new readers and promote upcoming titles. As a newbie myself, I was interested in seeing what “staples” DC, Marvel, Image, and independent companies would offer to beginners and veterans alike. While I only had a chance to visit one store, I’ll be sharing both my loot and three of the series I look the most forward to in the coming months.
