Since Pixar’s latest film, Inside Out, is close to its release date, it makes perfect sense that the world would finally get a taste of the studio’s other new animated project, The Good Dinosaur, which you can view below.
The Oscars were last night, and oh boy did I have a good time! If you missed it, here’s a quick recap of all the important things I learned from the 87th Annual Academy Awards!
1. I miss Jack Black
Jack Black was a part of host Neil Patrick Harris’ musical opening number and I could not have been more excited. The School Of Rock’s star will always have an immense place in my heart and seeing him perform as a disillusioned baddie on the show last night was GREAT. Here is the opening, in all its glory:

Welcome to the coverage regarding Hollywood’s best and whitest I MEAN BRIGHTEST – yes I swiped that joke from the opening number, it was just too good not to. But anyway, on with the show!
Last night my little sister and I went to see Gone Girl as a final movie night before she gives birth to her son and baby-free time becomes scarce for awhile. She picked the movie since that seemed only fair given the circumstances and since, well, my sister always picks the movie. If I had been taking myself out, I wouldn’t have picked Gone Girl, but I’m glad she did and I agreed to go, not just for the bonding time. The movie, based on the bestseller by Gillian Flynn which I haven’t read, didn’t seem like something that I would be particularly interested in–not my genre really. After seeing it however, I left the theater truly unsettled, like goosebumps and chills unsettled, which is how I know I just sat through an excellent movie that has continued to disturb me 24 hours later.
