Cancelled Too Soon: 4 Series that Left Me Wanting More

The gifs should be pretty explanatory, but I’ll humor  you (just because I like you readers). Many a TV series have gone the way of Firefly, cancelled while they still showed promise. Today I’m commemorating and/or arguing for a handful of such series who left us prematurely. Because there are already enough articles on the internet about it, Firefly is not featured in this list. I am also not including Leverage (my favorite series ever), because it managed five seasons and I already dedicated a lengthy post to it in the past.

Now, onto my fab four…

Falling Apart Over Sinner

Maggie Stiefvater’s newest novel, Sinner, which comes out tomorrow, is a masterpiece. Technically a stand-alone novel, it tells the story of two characters previously seen in the Mercy Falls trilogy (Shiver, Linger, and Forever). Sam and Grace have found their “happily ever after,” and now it’s Cole and Isabel searching for the same with a Los Angeles background and a reality television crew to add some spice.  While I don’t think it’s necessary to have read the Mercy Falls books prior to reading Sinner, I think it would help hugely.
