“Beauty and the Beast” Live Action Release Date Announced Plus More

I know, I know, I promise I’ll shut up about this Beauty and the Beast movie, but now we can “officially” talk some news. Probably due to the success of a certain movie that involved a girl with a shoe, which debuted big this weekend, Disney has announced their new live action adaptation of the classic fairy tale will be released March 17th, 2017.  Oh, and yeah, we got more casting announcements too! Top 5 Must See Shakespeare Film Adaptations

I. LOVE. SHAKESPEARE.

In my schooling career, I have read/seen/preformed countless plays and adaptations of the Bard’s work. I have read over 20 of his plays, taken three classes specifically on Shakespeare, one of which I took while abroad in London and was taught by Russ McDonald, one of the frontrunners of Shakespeare scholarly work (I’m slightly obsessed with him).

I find that I really enjoy watching versions of Shakespeare’s plays, seeing how different directors/actors/designers interpret his work. I have a number of favorites, and thus I’ve done one of my favorite things: I’VE MADE A LIST. In no particular order…
