Top Four Games for Your Gamer This Holiday Season

Plenty of people are looking to buy their beloved gamer something for Christmas, but don’t know which games to buy. Gamers can be hard to buy for, especially if they are particular to their system, or into a big series. Please always note the rating before purchasing for a younger gamer. Here’s my top four plus a bonus gift guide!

  1. Star Wars Battlefront

Battlefront is a first person and third person shooter. It does not have a story line but it is a blast with friends if you’re looking to play with groups of people. With all the hype of Star Wars this December it is a great game to give your gamer if they like Star Wars.

2. Witcher III: Wild Hunt

It’s the third installment of the Witcher series. It is a third person RPG in a fantasy setting, similar to Skyrim. You do not need to play the other first two games in order to enjoy this one. The combat is skill-based. Geralt of Rivia is a Witcher, which is a person who has unergone mutations to give them superhuman abilities so they can be professional monster hunters.

3. Fallout Four

This is the forth game in the Fallout series that everyone keeps raving about. It’s a post-apocalyptic game set around a great war. It is an open world RPG thanks to Bethesda. This game has amazing ratings and a lot of people playing it. You cannot play it online with friends, but there are plenty of hours of fun in this game.

4. Call of Duty: Black Ops III

In the vein of war games, Call of Duty has finally put a twist to their Black Ops games with super human engineering. This game features some very gruesome scenes and is not for the faint of heart. You can choose your gender which is a huge seller for me. You can also unlock zombies as always. I am currently playing this game, but please note the rating.


Bonus Gift Guide:

If you’re looking to buy smaller things for gamers a few good ideas include batteries for a controller, an extra controller, headset, and whatever online access is for their system (Play Station Network, Xbox Live, etc.)

These are all good smaller gifts that can be purchased if you’re not sure about games. They are always greatly appreciated as well!
