If you’re tired of seeing Chris Pratt everywhere, well I’ve got some baaaad news for you! Universal just announced a release date for the inevitable follow-up to Jurassic World. It was only a matter of time, considering JW set a new record at the box office its opening weekend.
The currently untitled JW sequel already has Pratt and his co-star Bryce Dallas Howard signed on. Joining them are Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly who will again lend their expertise to writing the screenplay. Trevorrow also directed Jurassic World, but will not pick up the franchise reigns a second time. He believes different directors bring individual flavor to the series. Producers Steven Spielberg and Frank Marshall are expected to return as well.
