First Teaser for Pixar’s “The Good Dinosaur” Released

Since Pixar’s latest film, Inside Out, is close to its release date, it makes perfect sense that the world would finally get a taste of the studio’s other new animated project, The Good Dinosaur, which you can view below

In case you don’t know anything about The Good Dinosaur, here is a quick breakdown thanks to Inside The Magic:

“The Good Dinosaur” asks the generations-old question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? The film is a humorous and exciting original story about Arlo, a lively Apatosaurus with a big heart. After a traumatic event unsettles Arlo’s family, he sets out on a remarkable journey, gaining an unlikely companion along the way – a human boy. “The Good Dinosaur” is an extraordinary journey of self-discovery full of thrilling adventure, hilarious characters and poignant heart.

I’ll be honest, I am a sucker for anything featuring these prehistoric giants. And if Pixar is behind it, along with the voice talents of Judy Greer and Neil Patrick Harris, I am totally set. Interestingly, the trailer takes a much more serious tone than many were probably expecting, as if it was almost inspired by another Disney Dino-related project, 2000’s Dinosaur, which also featured a very mature ad campaign.

I, like many Pixar fanatics, have been waiting for this movie for quite sometime. It has been plagued with countless delays since its announcement, but hopefully the wait will pay off.
