Welcome to the world Caitlyn Jenner. After living 65 years known as Bruce Jenner, Caitlyn Jenner was introduced on Vanity Fair’s recently released July cover. She has been very open about her transition, sharing her story with Diane Sawyer and a special two-part episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Now with the preview of Vanity Fair, she has revealed her name and taken a photo for the first time as Caitlyn.
Caitlyn recently started a twitter page for herself, @. In her bio as well as her first tweet, she greets the twitter world as Caitlyn. “I’m so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can’t wait for you to get to know her/me.”
She’s made it clear that she wants to be able to help people with her story and I think the fact that a transgender woman can be on the cover of such a respected magazine shows that we’re taking serious strides in the transgender community . Caitlyn is so beautiful on the cover and looks so amazingly happy.
I think Caitlyn Jenner will be welcomed by some and shamed by others. Despite all that, she is doing what makes her happy and sharing her story so that she can help people going through the same struggles that she has.
Congratulations Caitlyn Jenner!
