If you are good at spotting celebrities, you might notice who is who in the newly announced cast. Of course, the best part of the news, officially confirms the return of the original gang: Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill are back, along with Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker.

As for the new kids on the Tatooine, we got John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver along with Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow. But for me, the coolest news of all is hearing that one of my favorite actors of all time, Andy Serkis, will join the fun as well. Motion capture performing or not, I can’t wait to see him be part of the Star Wars family.

Now of course, this really isn’t official news yet, since the cast won’t be fully known till May The Fourth Be With You (May 4th), but if this is an accidental leak or just a way to get some buzz, it’s still some fantastic news.

This little official blurb was also released:

“We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again,” said director J.J. Abrams. “We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud.” (Source)
